WE good?
Not every job interview involves a meet and greet with a potential client who has just RFP’d the business. In late 2019 however, that’s exactly where I found myself. I was brought onboard at The Mars Agency mid-pitch for the Henkel business. The team had done an incredible amount of creative ideation and landed some solid territories, but they hadn’t quite pushed it over the finish line. With a solid strategy – Let’s put life before laundry – and a catchy brand name, plus a super talented creative team, we were off to a great start.
Our campaign all good, helped us transform an everyday chore into pat on the back for what Moms everywhere were already doing. But the real magic happened in the room, during one of the last in person presentations before the pandemic. We sold the hell out of it – with the authenticity of this Mom who lives the insight every single day – bringing home a pitch win that was truly, all good.
Our P2Pi Omnishopper Award winning (and Effie nominated) campaign helped breathe new life into a low engagement category. And was adapted for the brand website and above the line assets for 2020-2021.
